Kind of O/T - Airfix Kits (of cars of course)

Depends what you want I reckon. I have not made one for years, but as a kid I used to make loads. There will probably be a local model shop somewhere, Yellow Pages will list them, they can probably supply all you want for the same cost as a starter kit. Not online I grant you!
When I was a boy... There used to be a fantastic Bentley kit, I'd still quite like to make that!

Don't use tube glue. Use liquid glue. A good model shop will know. You don't get the spiders web between model and fingers and cat etc....
Bently is on my list but Spitfire and Victory need completing first
Probably find that kits don't come with all the paints required so a visit to a good model/craft shop handy. There are/were a good few scale cars from airfix.

I have that 1:12 scale 4.5 Blower Bentley kit
it cost about £60! Had it for about 5 years now and have only done the chassis and engine. Must get round to finishing it one day... It's a very therapeutic pasttime I'm lead to believe - it's just that it's the sort of past time that needs to be pursued when the wife is out doing her own thing - that way you've got peace and quiet and no guilt about spending 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon gluing bits of plastic together v e r y carefully!

When i was a young kiddie, i used to build those kits, mainly planes, but did a couple of cars too. Jaguar E Type was my favourite i think.
Whilst at Beulieu a few months ago, i thought it would be a good plan to buy a Focus WRC 2001 kit. Ive not yet bought any paints tho, so ive not even started it! When i get time.....

Revell do some kits which come with all the glue and paint included, not much choice of cars, from memory an E36 M3, E36 Alpina, Viper, and a few others, can't find a good link on the net so you'll have to get out in the real world and have a look

Does anybody know where I can get a good airfix kit ...Preferebly buyable online…. I'll ask my mum if she can pop into the local model shop and see what they have.
