Office filing system help

[Parrot of Doom]

Does anybody know where I can buy those little spiky things that hold receipts?

Basically, a square of wood, with a long sharp thin nail poking out of it - the idea being you stick the receipts onto it, to keep track of them?

I could make them myself but if someone knows where they're sold for cheap, that would be most handy.

I hate credit card receipts, they are the bane of my accounting.

Would be useful but I would end up stabbing myself accidentally.

I strongly suspect that they are now illegal to sell.

Make one yourself or even better buy a big bulldog grip

Bought mine from Office World a few years ago, cost about 30 bob. Of course they have been bought out by Staples so don't know if they still have them, might be worth a try though. Failing that: Drill a hole through a piece of wood, and push a piece of coat hanger through. Easy peasy!
