I know that the factory rates the chassis as being able to take 1000BHP but how far has anyone pushed it. I know that the 650bhp demonstrator is like lightning but with another couple of hundred horses would it be faster still. or would the handling be terrible as the chassis couldnt take it or is there not enough grip to use it.

Wots the biggest power ultima wot engine is it using and wots it like

Z-cars put 2 X turbo Busa engines in one and that was 1000 BHP.
But be warned IMOH Z-cars engineering is like something you would expect to find at your local banger racing track.

I would have thought the torque figure would be of more interest, the great thing here is power is developed in various ways from small high reving v8 5.7/6.2 (350/377 ci) engines to torque monsters 383/402/427 ci engines. So does the chassis cope with the torque - yes
I have 600 ft/lbs of torque IIRC

There are some 900hp twin turbo Ultima's that I heard off...and seen on internet, but I don't have it on my pc...annyone?
