Nice attempt at trolling.

Yes the roots of Porsche were from the agricultural industry. It was there that it got the reputation for outstanding build quality and reliability (many of the tractors are still in existance now.) As a Porsche owner it is nothing that i am embarassed about - i am quite frankly pleased that they built tractors - porsche is a company with a reputation for beauty, reliability and outstanding build quality.

how would you like it if we went on the Ferari section and posted a picture of a rusty bucket?

Love the old porsche tractors. They still have them alongside the usual exotica/classics at Porsche meets dont they? Always see them in 911&PW. Lambo started there as well didn't they!!

Now now just a little light banter don't get your knickers in a twist. I've been on here far longer than you sonny so calm down. Ferraris are above and beyond ANY sort of critism, any idiot knows that.

Knickers not in a twist mate. Just fed up with you ferrari drivers coming on here and poking fun. I bought a porsche because quite frankly I like the understatedness of it. Cant be done with this ' look at me' mentality applied by some of the Ferari owners. I take back the rusty bucket thing but would appreciate it if you didnt come on here evidently trying to troll (unsuccefully i might add) - im sure the fellas on this section will be laughing at you not with you.I cant see the relevance of the lengh of time ive been on here.

Fella, I'm not trolling at all, just thought that you porsche people would have a sense of humour, I was greatly mistaken. The numerous MR2 355 pictures I have seen throughout the years are priceless,I can laugh at them. You have been sat in that german car too long and the german sense of humour has seeped into your blood (or been sucked from you). you are the stereotypical uptight humourless Porsche driver. Get a life (and a sense of humour)

Oh, and a decent car whilst you're at it....

Tut tut tut ladies. I simply try to bring a bit of christmas cheer to your otherwise dull lives with a funny link and this is the thanks I get. Are you all constipated or something, is that what makes you grumpy?

Come on guys, it was an innocent post from Hazy as far as I was concerned.

Everyone into Porsches knows they made tractors and it doesn't really discredit the marque as it's been so long ago. As an 'open topped Porsche' goes, it's a fair gag. And it has a central driving position like the McLaren F1 as well.

Hazy, it's the seats in the Merc second cars we have that give us constipation. The foam they use is concrete impregnated to prevent sagging. Not very 'yielding'.
