Does anyone know whether or not it is possible to retro-fit the targa roof to the coupe ?

I've got a jig-saw you can borrow.

Seriously, I don't know. Maybe the T owners and post some detailed close up pictures of the Targa inside and out, in situe and off.

Quite a while ago now someone asked about going the other
way due, I think, to noise from the panels. If I remember
correctly the factory were not keen to do it even for money.
Maybe there are more differences than it appears ?

Hummm.. so if you roll your T350 on grass without doing much structural damage you mean to tell me that the factory can't suppy a new roof panel? Being GRP would of course be quite easy for a body shop. Rich....

Ok, memory was a little off, maybe they simply did not want to do it
half price -

In desperation I asked the factory if they'd look into filling in the appertures and making it into a proper (coupe) roof, or chopping off the old roof, anything. But the answer was no, even though I offered to pay half of the cost.

Nothing is impossible given enough time and money! However you might be best advised to simply buy a 'T' in the first place. The roof moulding on the 'T' is quite different to the 'C'. Not just the obvious holes in the roof, but a lip all around the aperture and extra strengthening down and around the T panel between the apertures. Also I guess that every targa panel will be shaped and trimmed slightly differently to fit individually. The cost of making the targa panels in carbon-fibre is not to be underestimated either!!
I hope that this helps. Tony

This has got me wondering - could a T350C be converted into a full convertible like a Tamora? I've always thought the T350C prettier than the Tam (don't flame - just my opinion) but have a hankering for a convertible...

Are they not beavering away at the factory making a T350 convertible - at least as a design excercise to see if it's worth putting into the current lineup?

Thought I'd read some 'scoop' about that.

Gary.

T350 has a full roll cage like the Cerby. It would look like a Tuscan racer! I sold the Cerby and bought a T350T to get as close to a convertible as possible while stll keeping the full cage which is a prerequisite from the better half.

VYT - just read your profile: any problems with running a T350 in OZ? I was recently chasing oil jobs in Perth and probably the only thing against the idea was that I'd have to leave my P&J in the UK.
