Which H4 headlamp bulbs? For Rally.

Right chaps, I want to get some mother of all illuminators for the old 66 mini, the brightest possible beasts that are available. The thing is, looking at the performance market, a lot of it seems directed at Kevs and their Astras looking Kooel, I just want some 
bright headlights. Can anyone influence my choice from the plethora of confusing bulb-science.
Bearing in mind, I am not after something which conforms with any road legal regs.
