I just continue to drool over this page as a regular visitor, especially as they've now got a Sea Fury in stock. Oh and some other old kites like a Mustang, B17 and a Zero for sale to name but a few.

A flying Spitfire was sold on ebay a few years ago - around £3 million IIRC.

What an ace website.

Wouldn't it be cool to fly your mates around in a DC3!

I flew in Air Atlantiques DC3 from Blackpool about 20 years ago.

A brill experience. I generally hated flying at the time but felt safer on that than a modern jet.

Probably had something to do with it feeling like 15mph when we took off.

add a smoking section onto that, and it sounds like Aeroflot.

Much like playing the Blues, you need to pay your dues.....

Air Atlantique operate all sorts of stuff. They own a Canberra too - although I don't think there's much room for passengers in it. They also have a "supporters" club which I was strongly tempted to join last year.

We could all get in one of these and fly over to Germany and back. .

Ted could give us a 'mission' for the day.
