Hi,

I'm after a flat screen for playing DVDs. Can you connect your PC monitor up for this purpose?

Cheers

AFAIK tv type signals are at 15khz, computer signals at 31khz, so not unless there is a dedicated socket for that type of output..

However many screens are multisync to both outputs and will do that (check the spec / label first)

You could either get an LCD TV with PC input, ot a PC monitor with video input.

I'm writting this while watching what I type on my 26" HDTV LCD which is connected to my PC, Freeview and PS2. Much better than just using a PC monitor and a separate TV. If I want to watch DVD, I just use the PC.
