Have just walked down Hatton Garden, had a look in the "usual" favourites dreaming at the Monacos' Carreras' etc, but wait whats this??

The new Ltd Edition Monaco, white face with what I can only describe as "FINA" style red and blue stripes running down the right hand side of the face, with Monaco in a bubble similar to how "GULF" used to be written on the old style signs in the 60's.

Just the Ultimate motoring style watch I thought, looked like the colours that McQueen had his race suit/stripes in the film. Trouble being, apparently according to the bint in the shop, pretty, but brainless, was that she knew nothing about it, including name, serial number etc, and that it only came out/was delivered today.

I know there are a fair few purveyors of fine timepieces, and wondered if anyone knows the name, or can post a picture, its well worth seeing.

Yes. I believe the thread title may have given the deception away.

The Tag website doesn't show the watch in the spec described.

Tag peaked with the S/EL, a mid-sized, dark faced example of which adorns my wrist.

It was and is all I've ever wanted in the watch department.

Nope. Its a very late started 1970's Le Mans Film Merchandise appreciation thread, we just have a very small selection of said merchandise, which coincidentally, happens to be a watch.

£35? Are you MAD?????

You need spend no more than £9.99 for a decent quality watch that will give you years of enjoyable viewing. £35 indeed...
