My TVR is an a right state <crying>. After 8 years of hard driving its all tatty. Using a merc for my commuting now...so want to restore the TVR back to its former, if not improved, glory.

Anyone know (inc. tel. no.s) of anyone who can supply new back roof section. I know theres talk of Racing Green providing one for £350(inc Targa) but no contact details. Tried 'TVR Racing Green', on the off-chance, who are quoting £900+. <fainting>. Obviously the wrong one.

Also anyone who can refurb the entire interior...all the leather and carpets etc...make it look all brand new.

And finally <deep breath> a complete respray and possibly new lights, back and front.

Cheers.

What a lot of work... have you thought about swapping it for a better one?

Coverdale can supply all carpeting (pre-cut): www.coverdalecarpets.com/

Martrim come highly recommended by a few PHers for hood repairs, from their site it looks like they could help with re-trimming the seats too, if required: www.martrim.co.uk/

Austec Racing have a bodywork division that offer respray services. I've seen some of their work and it looks fantastic: www.austecbodyworks.co.uk/ Failing that, Eddie 4.2 has a spray shop which I know is highly regarded.

A search of the forums should bring up more details/recommendations. There's also a guide to refitting the carpeting somewhere in the Chimaera forum.

I can recommend Martrim, good outfit - they could do everything bar the respray, they've got a massive warehouse full of all colours of leather, cloth, and alcantara.

Just to update you with Martrim, they only do trim now,one of the upholsterers that worked there is now working as KRJ trimmers at Middlewich. Quoted me £450 for the whole roof. Phone no 01606 834480.
Hope that helps your quest.

I'd strongly recomend AJ Trimming in Bourne End - he advertises in the back of Sprint. I have his number somewhere if you want to PM me.

He did my entire roof (back section & targa panel) earlier this year for £500 and did an excellent job - looks like new and no leaks.

He also does seats and interior trim - I saw some of his work when I picked my car up and it looked good

Like the man said it's in the back of Sprint - you are a member of TVRCC I presume.

Nope not a memember. So if any ones got a copy of sprint...contact details for the chappie would be appreciated.

As for the comment about scrapping it !!!...errrm I think NOT. I also have a Merc CLK Convertible Super Charger with all the options. It has no personality. Boring, yet reliable.

TVR on the hand has broken down over 40 times. I've been banned from AA and Green Flag.
Its like a luver. Shes incredible sexy and has a firey temper to match. She prefers to do things in her own time.

And she certainly doesn't like her german counterpart.
