Travelled south yesterday to drop off family presents etc.

Came to fill up at a local BP station this morning to travel back: put 27 litres of unleaded into half a tank of diesel! Thanksfully I realised in time and didn't start the engine. RAC predicted 2 hours to get to me plus £100-£150 to drain and flush at a local garage. Thankfuly local garage did the lot including recovery for £72 including recovery, but spent 4 hours waiting for the work to be done.

My only defence is that BP have started using the black fuel hoses for their new Ultaioptimummy unleaded instead of green ones, just when I have got used to the colour codes and I am not too clever.
