Soo, one car, and a crash. Will she be prosecuted for reckless driving/speeding? Or should we all be grateful that she was not hurt?

The story was in todays Times.

For me the interest is purely to see if she gets done for what can only be crap/reckless driving. For others because they will actually care if the old is ok.....

Crashing into a bridge and nearly rolling the car has got to be an offence.....

Unless she was auditioning for the next Bond? Gotta be better than the current chump.

Come back, Rog, all is forgiven. Unicef won't mind.

Look you've been told before that was Thom's fault, and for god sake don't let Flasher see that comment you know what he gets like about his Princess.

Well it may be an offence but an actual prosecution is very unlikely - If there was only one vehicle involved and nothing else was damaged other than her car,or if no-one else but the driver was injured as a result, then without evidence of her driving carelessly or dangerously there will be no prosecution. The Road Traffic Act 1988 covers the definition of an 'accident' and unless the criteria above are met then it will not be deemed an accident. This does not preclude prosecution for Due Care or Dangerous Driving. However the fact that she has been involved in an incident is not itself sufficient eveidence to prove these offences...
