Can we all get signing up please chaps !
there's 11 so far and we need 50 to hold the 100% Noble exclusivity on the circuit.

Please spread the word and get as many owners as you know to get signed up !!
Brands will open the day to other marques on the Jan 10th if we don't fill it !

Nathan and Dan - You count as Noble Owners !
(just don't overtake anyone!!)

Sorry owen, I have resigned myself to being under the thumb next year and spending money on boring stuff like bathrooms, driveways and re doing the back garden [] I've negotiated Spa and the 'ring but any other trackdays will be later in the year. Thanks for the invite though, and on a tight track like brands there'd be no danger of nobles being overtaken []

Owen,
I was waiting to see what the weather will be like. If there is ice or snow on track will the event be cancelled and monies returned?

Thanks, Keith

Dear Owen,
Whats the news on this? With only 11 cars is it likely you'll get to the 50 you need? Whats the deadline for cancellation? Is there one?

I'm still confident. There won't be a cancellation, Brands will open the day if we can't get the full number. The postal mailer will be landing soon, so that should drum a few up. If we don't get enough, I'm going to have a word with Brands to see if we can open the day to other PH'rs first, before it goes on general sale.

Any news on weather cancellation?? I'm guessing this is the biggest impediment to Nobility signing up. It's bad enough trying to second guess the weather in summer for track-days, let alone in deepest mid-winter. I think if there was a sensible refund policy then that might open the flood-gates. All I could find on their web-site was 'pay-up and no cancellation', which looking out the window right now, just dosn't do it for me.

Waiting for a reply on that one Rob. I'd be amazed if they didn't offer a refund if the the track was closed due to snow/fog. I'd guess they've got frost/ice covered by treating the track.

you never know though !

Dear Owen,
OK understood - I didn't want to think you were going tpo be liable for a failed day. 12+ Nobles will still be great fun, dodging our way in and out of the slower cars.

I have done 2 trackdays now in full rain and coldness and found it a real giggle! Not the usual mad g-forces of a dry track but if you go there to have fun rather than to try and beat the circuit record then it will still be great fun even if it is icy and damp!

I've also have done track-days in just about all kinds of weather (including one at Oulton where everyone drove round the circuit nose to tail for 40 mins at 30mph to get rid of the haw-frost). If everyone drove according to the conditions then absolutely no problems; but my experience is that not everyone does. At Donington in early Dec (damp conditions; v cold) one crazy spun off down Craners, re-joined the circuit dragging gobs of mud and dirt onto the track and then promptly spun off the next lap on the shite he'd dragged on the circuit and rolled his car. Fortunately on this occasion no one else was involved, but as I'm sure you know only too well if some crazy T-bones you, you're left footing the bill. Could happen at any time, of course -but chances are much higher in bad weather conditions.

Brands isn't a track to take big liberties on, so be careful if it's wet

Owen, thanks for the invite, but I don't think I can make it unfortunately - think I might have been a bit of a target in the solitary Porsche anyway! Hope you can get the requisite numbers.

Sorry not to make it. I'm off ice and snow driving in Sweden with Robb Gravett. Don't know why you're all making fuss about a little rain (won't be taking the Noble though)!
