Well that's it; she goes tomorrow. New business venture means I need all the capital I can lay my hands on, so one, and possibly both 'raris have to go. Buyer for the 360 Modena came today and picks it up tomorrow. Not asking for (nor do I want) sympathy; in the overall scheme of things this is not hardship but you do grow attached to these things. Now I know how Manu must have felt and it's a bit sh*t actually.

I am gutted and I think manu must be even worse. I hope you will still come out for a drive. The worse part is that I never had a ride in the 360 but you are always welcome a ride in the Ult

For an enthusiast, one hell of a decision you've taken, I hope your new venture does well.

Hope to still see you at the meets and the offer of a tt "blast" is still there.

I guess the ultimate desire to own one or more very very special Ferrari's is the driving force behind this very tough decision. I'm sure in the long term when the new business venture reaps its rewards, which I have no doubt it will, we will all be waiting eagerly for the new item(s) of beauty to arrive so we can all listen to the acoustic delights they will undoubtedly provide us with.

Good luck with the new venture and I hope the rewards come quickly so that the pain is only short lived.

Sorry to hear that Kevin.
Any time you need a reminder on how your 360 felt, just hop into a plane and pay your italian friend a visit.

Not the kind of thing you want to read first thing Friday morning

I am absolutely gutted for you Kev. That must have been a VERY tuff decision to make.

I wish you the very best of luck with the new business venture. I'm sure it will be a success

All that remains for me to say is:
Thanks a million for giving me the opportunity to sample the 360 and all its delights. It was a fantatsic day, and one that I'll remember for a long time to come

Anyway, enough doom and gloom. If all goes well maybe you could take me for a "Hoon" in a F50

Cheers,
Jay.

Kevin - good luck in your venture. I'm sure the return on investing the proceeds of the 360 will easily yield another 360 and your F50.

You've got to speculate to accumulate.

Bugger. Sorry to hear that, but hey your other toys 'quite nice'. Anyway, as everyone has said, I'm sure in time you'll be driving a 288GTO - a *real* one, not any of this tarted up 308 business! We must all meet up and have a blast soon - still haven't heard the 456....

Here's to the next one, when everythings done and settled, I'll be gunning you to get the F50. Or maybe even an Enzo...

At least the 456 makes it easier to bear for now.

Kev,

good luck with the new venture. I'm sure it wont be long before the investment pays off and another piece of italian exotica fills your garage.

Good luck Kev. Must have been a tough decision. You'll be back in one soon though....louder, faster and shinier.

What can I say but thanks! Main reason I posted this was to let everyone know, and it was quite cathartic. But it feels way more bearable now. Building businesses is a lot of fun and having to do stuff like this is one of the occasional downsides. The main thing is to do everything you can to make it a success, and the rest will flow as a consequence.

Ajay was a bit too damn efficient finding me a buyer for the 360 (less than a week for fecks sakes) so I've taken him off the 456's case and advertised it on the FOC website instead; never known anything advertised there find a buyer so should be safe for a bit

There's no way I'm dropping out of PH activities though- far too much fun to be had for that.

Bloody hell, shocking news there, Kevin.

I was having a good, erm, drool, over your cars last week; you're dumping the 456 as well?

I had to ditch the Crewe special for similar anti-communist reasons and to this day, it hurts like hell.

And for what? So a bunch of trots can screw a few more scheckles oot to finance the new 'Lesbos R Us' communal earth summit in Lambeth.

As Manu said to me recently (like a devil on the shoulder!), you only live once.

How would Oscar Wild have put it? "Losing one Ferrari is unfortunate; two, seems like carelessness."

Help.

Sorry to hear that Kevin - was always a real occasion seeing your car at the PH meets! Are you going to be getting a cheap and cheerful sportscar in the meantime? Something beginning with 'P' and ending in '4' maybe...?

No, didn't get any confirmation of where & when, and now you mention it haven't received anything from Richard for months now. Probably got one of his email glitches again.

Kev
PS Already getting queries about the 456- from the FOC website by God! First time I've ever heard, in my life, of this route doing anything.
FFS Ajay find me some low flying pork (does that answer your question Andrew? )
