'morning all

Got a problem with IE (on another PC). Every time I click on a link, IE closes. It opens the 'home' page OK, but after that nothing. It does this will all sites - even the MS update site.

I've scanned for viruses (Corporate McAfee) but none found. No entries in the Event Log.

I'm sure I've heard of this before a long time ago.

IBM T41p running XP SP2

Any ideas?

Thanks

No idea I'm afraid. Have you tried running a spyware scan? It could be some kind of toolbar/IE add-on that has managed to install itself on your PC.

It's probably also worth checking the Application Event Log to see if IE is registering an error when it closes.
