I don't think it would be a bad idea.

I think quality watches have a fair bit in common with cars, in that people appreciate them for their design and their engineering, and from the responses to the watch threads that do come up, it seem a lot of other people feel the same.

For me, it gets pretty tiresome when every watch thread gets peed on by the same people with the same tired jokes.

The ceaseless Chronoporn does get a bit tiresome.

But we have a way of dealing with it now, make some funny jokes

a separate watch forum fourum would serve 2 purposes.

1) people who enjoy wacthes (like me ) would be able to post away happily.

2) people who dont like wacthes but who are unable to read the title of the thread and make a decision that its not a thread they want to read. but go ahead and read it and get wound up anyway.

therefore people who dont like watches are obviously stupid. sp please give up a watch forum.
