Hi, ladies and gentlemen. I have very recently purchased a Triumph Stag which has undergone an engine conversion using a 2.8 Cologne engine (Capri 2.8i)converted to a webber carb which retains the Capris' 5 speed 'box !
The bonnet has not been modded in any way and to be honest, the car sounds and drives extremely well. I also own a standard Stag and the 2.8 sounds remarkably similar ! ? !
However, I purchased the car with out the air filter present and am not sure what I should be using.
I know that such conversions were very popular during the 80's and 90's so I am hoping that one of you experts out there can point me in the right direction? Any ideas on what will fit ?? Regards, Adi.

Call K & N filters. They should have an application that suits. If you can try and route a cold air feed in to the carb then it will go better.
