Copyright law on music used in PP slide show
Discussion
Happy Christmas folks,
Further to an earlier question on adding music to a Powerpoint slide show for distribution to others ( no money involved), does anyone know what the laws of copyright say about adding 55 seconds of a well known guitar piece as a loop of music embedded in the slide show.
We have been told that one is "allowed" to use anything under a minute but need to be sure. Due acknowledgement will be given to the artist and the composer of course.
I have looked under "Fair use" in the Copyright laws but they are not clear to me.
Cheers
