Hi all,

First of all does anyone know if the the Mid Kent TVR CC meet is on this weekend?

If it is a few of us would like to propose a run down there. An initial meet would start from Bickley Station near Bromley at 11:30 then progressing down to the Oakdean Cafe for 12:00 to 12:30, then onto main venue.

If anyone would like to join us you are more than welcome.

... and by the way, get you anti-rain dances going now!!

I’ll be going along, unfortunately it won’t be in the TVR. Wouldn’t mind meeting at the oakdean for 12ish!

Paul,

Cool see you there then... Are you sure we can not tempt you with a run down from the Bromley area? Are you bringing the Mini?

Yeah I’ll be bringing the mini (do you think you’ll keep up ) but may be starting out from Dartford so Bromley is a bit out of the way.

Arse, bugger, tits !!!!!!! (not necessarily in that order)

Why is it I keep bloody forgetting the Sunday meets !! I even went along on Wednesday the other week and was aksing who was coming along on the Sunday meet.

I will even have the Griffith back by then aswell !!!!

I'm going up to Norfolk for the weekend to check out Dad's new Chimeara ... Maybe I'll get up early Sunday and have a blast down. Apparently though the weather is going to be shit ...

I'll be coming along for the first time tomorrow.

What sort of time do people get there?

Come to think of it, where is the meeting? :-)

Rob

The meet is at The White Horse pub in Sandway, Kent.(if Im reading my copy of Sprint correctly!) My first time too.
Why not meet us at Bickley station or at the Oakdean cafe-let us know which one if you can & we will wait for you..if not, see you there.

Well thanks to those who braved the elements today.

Hope everyone enjoyed the food and the covoy back, despite the abundance of CSNs (Christmas Shopping Numpties) on the road!!

Hope to see you all soon.... i.e. The 8th!!!

Good fun indeed...comes to something when a Cerbie, 2 Griffs & an S have to follow a mini!!
I love people on motorways who pull out first-then indicate-then look to see if they are likely to kill anyone in the process. (much harder to do when you are boxed in by two Griffs, good work my friend)

See you soon

Cheers All,

Was great to meet up, will be there again as soon as Christmas and New Year family visits permit!

Forgot that my GPS backlight only comes on 5 seconds at a time (unless plugged in the the cigar lighter - mine doesn't work - doh!), so didn't quite get it sorted before the hit shopping numpties I'm afraid. However measured mine at ~80, and my speedo read 70!

Must remember a cloth when out driving in the rain and cold next time mind..

Cheers,

Rob

What great fun indeed
The "undertaking" mini was indeed a hard act to follow !!!
Did we all manage to "synchronise" our speeds on the way back?
I was sure that I was doing only 70 .....stuck behind a CSN van for much of the way back
Oh well never mind....theres always next time
See you all on the 8th when the Bromley posse will be out in force again

Next time I'll bring the Origin Blue-i (if I can fix the lighter socket) and someone can borrow the GPS, so we can syncrhonise the convoy.

Sweepstakes on who has the highest variance?

Just changed my nickname from robdabell, as it's about time I ditched the staid full-name one, and re-used one from my younger days!

Was fun to meet up at the oakdean and have a run down, sad that I had to stop twice to let you catch up (1.0 mini 34bhp), just wait until the Griff is back

Maybe see you all for the next one?

Thought you guys were going to follow us back into London. I would have waited for you all for a run up the A20, we had a blast ( well as much as you can with a mini !)

Good to meet you all and glad I made it down from Norfolk for lunch etc ...

If you are off for a blast from Bromley give us a shout as I'm only in Surrey Quays and never need an excuse to go for a run
