Experience with Headlight Conversion?

Hi all
Has anybody out there experiences with the Headlight Converison that uses the existing pod and Cover but has twin Lamps in the pod?
Any heat problems? Is installation possible DIY if you have some GRP experience.

I'd like to add to this if i may,with the question as to wheather anyone has gas dicharge lamps fitted in this set up?

Also , although it has been discussed before, has anyone fitted 7" lights like the last 100 Griffs??

I did this job myself when I had my Griff. Not too difficult and no need for any GRP work just a bit of trimming up of the new pod to fit, bit of rewiring to change the connectors to suit and a few goes with the Sikaflex to get a neat job.
That said though TVR Bodyshop were doing the kit fitted all in for about £550 IIRC which to be honest is pretty good value considering I paid £350 for the kit alone.
Didn't have any issues with heat and a reasonable improvement performance wise over standard but not as good as I'd hoped. Phil Dicky (sp) has the car now, pics on his profile I think.

Same as Tiny, and I can see well except for them small fluffy things that run out in front of you at the last minute. Good thing is IMHO is that they can be restored back to original config quite easily if anyone wanted to in future.
