my best xmas present - a working boot!

christmas has come early to the softinthehead household! persuaded a smallish 11yr old to squeeze into the boot of the 968cab through the rear seat access, and release the boot mechanism manually. so now the boot is open, ive fixed the problem (just a metal sleeve on the release cable had worked free)and santa will no doubt be leaving an extra generous present for one little girl tonight

She'll be up the chimney after Xmas no doubt...they have their uses....also handy for cleaning rear windows in cars with roll cages!!

she got in entirely of her own volition!

truth be told, i was fairly depressed cos I really really couldnt see how to fix this. turned out to be a simple thing, especially if one has access to someone reasonable and less than 4 ft tall
