Sure was. The new bloke was very good, and the killer Santas and killer tree weren't utterly cringeworthy as the various blurbs had led me to expect. Thoroughly looking forward to the series proper. I wish they'd abandon the "Star Trek" format of having a whole adventure from beginning to end in one episode though.

No, that would have required me to abandon my defiantly stick-in-the-mud attitude to new technology whose purpose of existence is to get people to buy crap they don't need... I watched it on analogue.

Hey, I watched 'Cube' as well, thought it was a great film. So many questions, were they in Hell/purgatory??? Actually, I just thought it was cool when the first bloke to set off a booby trap found himself diced into 4 inch square chunks that slopped off each other onto the floor with fabulous flubbery SFX...

Dr Who was good, liked the 'New Bloke'

Its cool isnt it. Made for about 2p with unknown actors in Canada. Just shows you don't need a $200m budget to make something with decent production values.
