What a perfect days driving!
Well this morning I had to drive from Leigh on Sea to Daventry to have Christmas dinner with my sisters her family and my parents. Then afer a while, and after being thrashed by my nephew at GT4, I headed of to Stansted, or Hadield Broad Oak to meet up with my girlfriend and her family for supper, and more pressies.
Well apart from all great presents, I had to do nearly 300 miles in Fluffy, mostly motorway stuff and boy was it clear. On the M1 I was cruising along at an easy 95 (indicated and my speedo always over reads
) and on the way back some people were going alot faster then me. I was even overtaken by the plod who gave me a friendly nod and a thumbs up!
It just seemed to work, as if there were no speed limits for the day.
The best bit was Fluffy did not miss a beat, ran pefectly from start to finish (I dont know why TVR owners feel the need to say this sort of thing 'cos they are reliable really)
