Tommy Cooper on Ch5

The old ones are the best

Old humour, strange jokes, and a very odd man he was, but a genious non the less and missed by millions.

I remember watching that Duck sketch first time round - Christmas 1974 I think. Still made me laugh.

its a very "retro" TV schedule this year. we've had programmes on spike milligan, tommy cooper and handcock, and repeats of the 2 ronnies and morecombe and wise, dave allen and porrige........its like being back in the 70's!

His inept magic still reduces me to tears, especially the glass/bottle routine.
