Quick watch question..Chanel J12???

What do you guy's make of this Chanel J12, I mean are these quality watches i.e. are they in the same league as say Omega, Bretling
, Classic Tag's etc?? Would you consider one over a Bretling-navitimer or Zenith El Primo??? I mean Chanel make nice perfumes but can they make a decent watch, this one is a certified choro, wonder who makes the movements for the j12's????

I've no idea really, but would you wear Rolex aftershave, or buy Gucci purfume for your other half?

The quality, I guess should be reflected in the price to a certain extent!

Dunno is the answer from me to your question.

There was a nice piece on these in Octane a while back (last 2 months IIRC) claiming that they are a "proper" timepiece rather than designer tat and that Chanel are trying to be taken seriously as watchmakers.

You pays & chooses I suppose.

I think this is about £2.2k+ ish, when I saw it in Watches Of Switzerland the other day, I didn't really get a chance to speak to the sales person as they were very busy.....mmm...may have to check out some watches in the sales!!!

Actually quite a decent watch and distincive enough to bear scrutiny (I quite like it). A good effort from Chanel I'd say and not the usual samey stuff that comes out of fashion houses.

If you've seen it in WOS that's usually a good sign. Go for it.
