Hi Guys,

Im thinking of entering the Cannonball in my T350t.

Has anyone here attempted it in a TVR? or is there anything going on via a car club??

I think a T350 took place in the run last year- don't know who though. Why not ask the organisers, they are a friendly bunch.

It was Sacha - search under members - he told us all about it & had a great time, held the British end up successfully against the swarm of Porsches etc. His run inspired me to go the extra mile to trackdays at Spa & 'Ring with mine

Try looking at the following website as it has some footage of the 2004 (I think) Cannonball run and possibly entry details.

Hi!

Yup I di it in 2004 the cannonball run europe. It was great fun, but at this time i wouold not advise anybody to do any run with stickers involved as the police in europe are becoming intolerant.

If you need to know any more, PM me and I would gladly advise you on what you need do.

Regards,

Sacha

First of all.....hi Sacha, it's been a while! How's things with you? (2004 Car 69 here!). Secondly, there were TVRs in the 2005 CBRE too (Chimera, Cerbera and Sagaris, I believe). I think the Chim came third, IIRC.

Pay heed to the warnings about stickers. Also be prepared to get into trouble, be prepared to be fined. I have heard of the potential for cars to be confiscated, but what you'd need to do to get done that heavily I don't know. Radar detectors are illegal in France, and I think they are in most other countries on the Continent.

Having said that, I had a great time in 2004, loads of great memories despite the unexpected changes in transport my friend and I endured!
