Tracing IP Address.....?

My firewall keeps picking up someone with the same IP address, which I have, how can I obtain more information about this address? I'm just curious, obviously they are making repeat attempts to access my system and I'd like to trace it......

Are you sure it's not your own machine doing something. what's the IP address concerned?
