Another alternative is to go to...
Insert>Function.....
select Category = Date and Time from the drop down list and you have a load of options listed, amongst them is the =Now() function
Then you format the cell to give you the display you want.
To get an array or list of dates you make an arithemetical calculation on the number.
eg Today 29/12/2005 is 38715
38715+7 is a week from today
38722 = 05/01/2006
If you want a time as well as the date then that is the decimal point after the date number x in the range x.000000 which is midnight 12:00:00AM to x.999988426 which is 11:59:59PM
Does that answer your question?

Updating a column of dates on a monthly basis, e.g. to show the current month's calendar, will be a lot more complex (just had a look, and not obvious...can identify the current month and year separately from the function lists, but then need to feed that back into a date-format).
Alternatively, to have a rolling 14- or 30-day (or whatever) calendar, just use the =today() function for the first day (e.g. cell A1), then a function A2=A1+1; a3=A2+1; ... for the rest of the days you need. This can then be linked to lookups to pull the correct info about that date.
