A bit off topic so apols.

Anyone know if there are specific licence requirements to drive wedding cars?

This is for std 4 seater Bentley (and the like) jobbies, no minibuses or anything like that.

I couldn't spot anything on the DVLA site but then it isn't the easiest thing to traverse around.

You probably don't need anything from DVLA but you would need to make sure you had the correct insurance.

Effectively, you are a "high class taxi" so would need public liability insurance to cover you against the unmentionables to the passengers.

I may be wrong on this point but I think taxis have a more stringent MOT test so that may come into play.

I would check with local authority, diff councils may have diff rules. U are using the car for 'hire or reward by carrying passengers' so am sure the Govt will have some way of getting something out of you!!!

Or give a chauffer company a call and ask!

It would be classed as cheuffering, and therefore either a local coucil licence is required and/or a PCO licence, or Public Carriage Office, in London. The PCO would be the best advise you would need for this line of work.
