Finally - some workshop time!
Discussion
Leapt out of bed at the crack of dawn (well 8AM, bloody early for me, especially as I didn't go to bed till after 2) to chisel the ice off me Julie's car.
Once I'd defrosted I realised I had a whole day ahead of me, and Julie's at work.
As it happens I'd just bought a Shiny New Thing in the form of a 1200W halogen heater, so I decided it might be a good time to do a few jobs in the workshop and see how the heater performed.
Not only that, but I have another SNT... with 4MP and 8x zoom, nothing remotely car-related but eminently suited to recording the fruits of my mornings labours:
Someone's lucky car will be getting it as a belated xmas pressie, no doubt
The heater works a treat: switchable between 400, 800 and 1200W, it stays cool to the touch whilst setting fire to my trousers from several paces. Maplins, £20
The TVR has acquired a SNT too: 12-disc CD/ cassete system from me Julie, who was getting ar5ed-off with discs skipping in the old Sony 10-disc. Now I can feel the need for a bigger Amp, 'medium' watts should do it
and maybe some new woofers and tweeters to complete the ensemble.
Now the day has flown by, the light is fading and I still haven't got round to fabricating a new blade guide for my bandsaw. Bugger. Still, there's always tomorrow...

Bought a four post lift from a neighbour just after buying the wedge in Jan so she sits on it as a parking spot and handy to keep an eye on things underneath ,need a bigger heater though !
You jammy git !
Even Wedg1e will be jealous of that!
I read my book about fixing cars, and then had to go for a lie down.
Its not jamy Graham , the chap sold it/wanted rid at a bargin price , and I knew the only way to look after lovely wedge without worry/backache/her dropping on me etc was to get this lift. Decided a few months ago to get lift restrung as ropes where fraying - reason why it was cheap ? Anyway dam glad its here , and if someone in a wedge wants to look under there car for a few mins then it would be ok but any longer and I an see a queue forming !If you are down this way Graham , as you have a 390 you are welcome !Going on hols sat returning 8 jan, so better be after then !
