They're worth the money if you use it to get properly set up at the same time. Just bolt on and download a map will probably produce some improvement, but it'll never beat time on a dyno with someone reputable.

Price has gone down on the CBR600RR (and up on every other bike!!) from 1st Jan 2006.
Unless you own a Harley all power commanders are now £235 plus VAT.
The only surefire way to work out whether you will need an O2 eliminator (£15 plus VAT) is to get down on zee knees and check whether the exhaust has a lambda sensor in it preferably when the exhaust isn't at 5000'C. Depending on when the bike was made and what market is was made for depends on whether Honda bother fitted a sensor.
