All the wireless trans recs I have seen send one channel (vid aud) to the receiver which means that tuning must be done at the transmitting device. (Can be done IR and repeater, I understand that)

That means that the second TV or PC with TV card has to be on the same channel as the first TV or DVD/VCR player. Not what I want.

I want all the channels avaiable at the receiver, not just one Video/audio.

Sombody must sell one?

I know I can get an old VCR and just use it's tuning ability with IR, thus transmitting a different channel than being watched on 1st TV. But I'd sooner do it properly.

For cable and satellite and digital you'll need a new STB/decoder for each one that you want independant.

I got a Freecom DVB stick for PC today and while it works well, the software is horrendous and it won't be getting used any more.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I just got one of those Freecom USB thingys too, and no matter what I do it says "Low Signal" (tried connecting to house aerial etc.)

Instructions are crap - mailed freecom 3 days ago, no response. Web search pretty fruitless, however does a little green light come on on yours at any time? Mine is always amber.

I can get 50+ channels with the little ariel blutacked to my window, light goes green when watching and the signal and power graphs are usually in the green or just below.

Shame that it disables my wireless lan any time I use it!
