Can anyone recommend where you can buy these or get them re-gassed.
The one on the Tiv barely supports the weight of the boot lid
and both of them on my old Audi Avant have just failed.
That is one heavy tailgate when it hits you on the head !
Must be something to do with the weather.

Theres a company on the web who will regas very cheaply, or provide a brand new one if you give them dimensions www.sgs-engineering.com/index.php - I havent tried them as I decided it was easier to buy a new one - as luck would have it I dropped into Castle TVR in passing and they had one in stock £29.95
