Have looked at the thread a few times and thought it was time I introduced myself! I've been riding bikes since I was knee high to a grasshopper starting of on a TY80 through 175 and then an Aprillia Climber. I then had a little break before getting on the road when I was 18 with a CB125 Superdream. I then got a Hornet as first big bike which was superb and am presently running three bikes 1990 Yamaha OWO1, 1991 XT600 and 1992 Fireblade.
Have recently returned from a trip down into the Moroccan Sahara on the XT with two friends 5500 miles in 22 Days! Wish I was still there now with the snow coming down outside! Also make plenty of races as living very near to Olivers Mount circuit and hoping to do first trackday this year prob Haslam as don't want to use my bike, what do people think?
Anyway enough from me. Happy and Safe riding to all!!

Welcome Hannu.
Great selection of bikes. I used to dream (still do) about owning an OW01. Is it race prepared, or road standard?
There was an article a couple of months back in PB, with Cal Crutchlow(?) riding a race prepared OW01 around Brands. To him it was ancient technology, but it took me back. Great bike.

The OWO1 is a road bike but is not standard, sporting spondon fully adjustable yokes and non standard clip ons making it a seriously commited riding posistion, plus a non standard exhaust system and some Harris bits with plenty of lockwiring. I'm not truly sure on the full spec but it is soon going to Peter Day (OWO1 Guru) to be set up so I should know better then!
