Does anyone know a decnt way to do this?
I've tried wood glue and superglue in strategic places to no avail.

or am i better off waiting til service time (Feb) and getting TVRPower to do it?

If it has come away from the backing there is no effective way to reattach it. You will find the "damage" considerably more extensive than it appears - much more of the veneer will have prted from the backing but will be held in place by the clocks and the dash top etc. Refinishing or replacement is the only real option, Any "repairs" will be temporary at best.

Or get an aluminium dash from Leven for under the cost of a re-cover. Top quality product.

yes, only a small bit had come away, but when i pulled very gently to get behind it, it went ping, ping , ping, ping and i was left with a much larger loose section....

how much is a recover, or a new Leven dash? cos I'm REALLY short on money at the mo'.

I was quoted 'about £160 to £180' for a re-veneer. The Leven Dash was £150 including VAT. Leven were really helpful every time I called them - top people.

Make sure you get all the other stuff off first, i.e. the wood glue and super glue.. and that both bits are nice and clean before applying the contact adhesive.. if you get a good bond, it should hold and flex as the dash expands and contracts.
