New tvr on its way

Well after 4 weeks of bloodly hard work i have just got the deal i wanted on a moonraker black tuscan s convertable mk2, i must be mad as this is my 5th tvr in as many years, but i have never had a brand new car let alone a tvr, and with the deal giles at barnet tvr gave me, with the discount and 3 years warranty that tvr are offering at the moment it seems a good buy (just trying to convince myself now) only time will tell, Its going to be a long week while they get it ready but i will keep you informed a bit like lady topaz done, as to how it behaves. I never saw that one,it must be around the back. I saw the marcos though, very nice looking car, very cramped inside, though i think it will take a few people away from tvr because of the V8 lump in it.

Tan with cream inserts, the only thing i would change if i had the choice would be the air vents on the dash, to me they look a bit dated, plus i would like a bigger spoiler on the boot as the only noticeable diffrence to any other tucsan is the s has a spoiler at the front plus it has a new curved dash,i dont know if they are putting these saggy arse dials in all the tuscans or just the vert.

It is just the Vert that has the T350/Tamora/Saggy dials.

That seems a bit strange to me you would think to cut costs all dashes would be the same like in the past.

Hey Tovie - what sort of discount did you get? I got my order in before New Year and have yet to finalise prices. I guess you got the S pack for 3.5k, but did you get more off on top? I can see I'll have to put my negotiating hat on!

It sounds like you've spec'ed yours already - what delivery date are you working to? I'm spec'ing mine in the next couple of weeks, and aiming for March delivery.

Dead excited - this'll be my first TVR.

Mine was already speced up, it was one they had in the showroom (not a demo)TVR tuscan 2 (s)verte so i get it on the 14th jan. It is moonracker black, tan and cream interior, as for discount i got a very good deal from tvr barnet as they almost gave me my money back on my 2002 s which i got off them in june the whole package, with tracker, 6 cd player, aromerfend, turned out less money than a none (s) verte. Very good value i think, but be quick as i am imformed that the offer is know closed
