Corno. In your country they may well advise motorists in advance B4 they dig up the roads and stuff, but over here in the great UK they just dig up what they want, when they want, and then leave it dug up for as long as they want. Best thing to do is ask again a few days B4 BBWF and at least you would get the up to date picture

it's fairly up-to-date and will let you know where any long-standign roadworks are. If you have a GPRS-enabled PDA and loads of credit on your account you could even check it on the way over!

Checked the situation out of interest last trip before Christmas. Out of 135 miles driven one way on the M4 and M5, there were 23 miles of roadworks with either lanes coned off or speed restrictions. In these 23 miles there were 25 people working. And this was on a Friday morning, when I assume, the work would be at it's peak. Doesn't it make you want to spit?

My vote is for Nonegreen (you'll find him in the Pie&Piston most nights)...ok he owns a Porker but he's shoot every green lobby lentilist in the country given the chance!!!
