Phew!
Some expensive damage there.


Pictured below is a car which I subsequently purchased (in 1984).

After being properly rebuilt, It became a lovely driver, running troublefree for 4 years as a workhorse for my shop.

Amazing what can be done.

Not exactly .... was going to work, on the dual carriageway outside lane doing approx 60 mph in 4th gear gently accelerating up to 70 mph when the rear stepped right out on me, went one way then the other ended up hitting the inside armco barrier, spinning round hitting the rear before getting T boned at about 50 mph by another car.
Pulled myself out the drivers window with only cuts (dozen stitches) and a bad back from the sidways shunt.

Written off as a CAT B ... so end of a 4 year relationship.
