Hello all. Unfortunately my Mille picked up a puncture and is currently languishing in Clapham, London.

The rubber ranch mobile fiting guy is away until the 5th, just thought I would ask on the off chance that anyone could recommend another mobile fitter in who covers this area.. Tyre is a 190/50 17 BT014 and is unfortunately only a month old..

Cheers!

Mike

Can't you get a puncture repair kit and repair it yourself?

Possible, but I know my own level of bodgery/incompetence with the oily end of the spanner, and now I tend to just leave these things to those people that know what they are doing. Esecially tyres and the bits that go round on a fast bike. It's a bit muppety I know, but I just don't trust myself to avoid landing myself in deep trouble.

Was tempted to bung some of that magic foam in and ride to a shop, but I've heard that that stuff is a bugger to clean off the wheel after use, and with the option of mobile fitters I thought it would be easier that way..

Cheers

Mike

You can get kits like this...

www.inter-bike.co.uk/inter-bikeshop/default.asp?numperpage=1&images=on&display=full&categoryid=168&searchstr=5060351&itemname=RemaTipTop%20REP&AIR%20Tubeless%20Tyres%20Kit%20(Motorcycle%20Puncture%20Repair%20Kit)

...which will get you home or to a fitters without filling the wheel up with cack and you don't need to take the wheel off.

No problem, most tyre places stock them I imagine and handy to keep under the seat.

If you went to a tyre place that stocks them and said you just need to fix the tyre so that you could bring it in for a new tyre they may give you a discount.

Good luck,

Sound advice. Thanks Mark, I will be leaving one of these under the seat!

Cheers
