Sorry guys a mate of mine just bought a Gallardo SE he also has a
Murcilargo but he prefers to drive the Gallardo SE. I must admit it pains me to say that when im in my
X50 i sometimes wish i was in the gallardo too. Its got noise, an interior to die for, pressence and is plenty
fast too I just wish they had the gullwing doors.

I was really impressed with the Gallardo's endless torque right across a wide rev band, that is why it may have felt slower than a GT2. i was impressed with it all round and would have bought one if i could have afforded it - but they are still too new for my budget.

I am keeping my eye on residuals for Gallardo's.
You can get a used one from a specialist for £85k now, I would think that this will be down to £75/80k in 2006, which makes them very tempting.
Heard bad things about the clutches though, lasting only a few k miles. Apparantly the 04 onwards cars resolve this & the newer clutch can be fitted to earlier cars.

Rump.

PS : I want a black one !

one of the few alternatives to a 911 turbo and beats it hands down in looks/noise/interior/drama/presence but higher costs and less practical

make mine in yellow with the wasp interior (black with yellow inserts)
