i went to mph last year and got talking to simon at noble,i asked him about engine upgrades for my 2.5 he said i would be best talking to joust,so here iam could you please advise me on the best mods for engine power upgrades and the best place to have these done, if there is any one else out there also that can advise i would appreciate any help,many thanks n8bby.

This'll depend on your ECU mate.
If you are on the MBE, then the factory do a power upgrade.
If you're on the old MM ecu, then that needs to be upgraded first.
Make sure you are sitting down when you get the quote

Here's an unashamed plug for Matt Faulk's power upgrade. I've got it on my 2.5 and it is brilliant. It gives you more power with smoother delivery. He's done it for my amateur racing car. I'd also recommend the IC upgrade as well.

The factory one gives the following dyno plot



It's a very entertaining power delivery, very very smooth as you can see from the plot, and I thourghly enjoyed the upgrade when I had it.

thanks for your help guys i only have a five speed box and no lsd so i think i will leave the car alone,again many thanks.
