I'd like to help but I have done a few searches on the same subject and so far drawn a blank. The only suggestion so far has been to use a bike carry bag and put it inside the car! Maybe not! Have you tried posting on the Maseratiforum, they have entries from around the world so there may be greater potential for some useful info.

Where do yo go biking, I am out in Derbyshire most weekends with the occasional road trip - mainly Wales and Yorkshire. Got a Cannondale Scalpel which is great for the local terain but not very big hit for the serious stuff.

Also see you have posted aboyt 4200 exhausts - did you get one in the end? I have just put a Tubi on mine, sounds superb generally but it does resonate inside between 2 and 3k which is a pain on my commute.

Good luck with the hunt let me know if you get any useful updates...

Hi Tex,

I've just got a Saris Bones 3 bike rack and just (30mins ago) picked the bike up. The rack is excellent so far. Will post pics when its on in daylight.

I've got a tubi on the spider, yeah it does drone a bit at that rev range but I find pulling on the left paddle a couple of times gets it into the nice sounding rev range !

Cheers

Dave

Great news, I'll hunt one down if you don't have any problems with it...

Excellent, looks pretty good - like the colour match! I will get on to Wiggle now and order myself one. Thanks for all the effort with the pictures. Enjoy the new bike, it needs a bit more mud on it yet though to get rid of that new bike shine...!
