Anadol
Discussion
Anadol commissioned Ogle Designs to design a grp car for home production. The engineering was entrusted to Reliant.
The first major overseas project by Ogle was a sports car using Ford Consul- Zepher oily bits, it was sold in the UK as the Reliant Sabre and had some rally success.
The project gave Ogle overseas exposure and prompted a Turkish consortium to approach them to design a car for local production. The Ford sign on the banner alongside Anadol is a good clue. The Anadols were produced as both were saloon and commercials using Tom Karen designed bodies and made use of Ford components including the famous Kent engine.
Its all explained on the website under history if you are familiar with the delights of the Turkish language.
