I'm fed up of it getting dark at 4pm, and being cold, drizzly, miserable nothing weather! No wonder the god damned holiday companies market their services at this time of year.

The grip is returning! Worship the grip!

Soon the cars shall be serviced. Then shall come the reckoning as just as the grip returneth shall the hoonage be participated in. Yay! Though I drive through the valley of the shadow of road salt, mud slime and shite I shall not be afraid for thy Traction Control and thy ABS comfort me. But I look forward to the resurrection of the summer, the smell of hot brakes and the Track Day Season.

Here endeth the lesson.

As someone who works for a Finnish company - this is positively warm and pleasant - so enjoy it while you can. I am off to Helsinki in a week or so, where it will be VERY cold ad VERY dark and not at all pleasant! And Helsinki is one of the milder places too!

I absolutely cannot wait for the Spring and Summer! It's getting so tedious driving on wet roads all the time, going through screen wash faster than petrol and washing the car only to find that its covered in mud only two days later.

Well I've booked a holiday to Tenerife next month. I wanted to go on my own and hire an open-top sports car, but the family were against this for some reason! As such, I'm now hiring an open-top Jeep!

Getting up here for work is no easier but it is a lot warmer and brighter.

Have a happy New Year, Srebbe - but all your accounts you are already prosperous!
Very comfortable flats eh Gareth

I always looked forward to late February since that's when it get's light when I leave the house in the morning and for the past few weeks I've been so relieved that it's almost here.

I was talking to a friend about it at work yesterday when he reminded me that I've changed shifts and now work 7-3 and it won't be light when I leave the house until sometime in May. Fair enought it's light when I leave work, but I'd much rather wake up with light coming though the windows than leave work to light.

Hi there LA. I was planning on moving to the Carribean but I took the family property viewing one day before Hurricane Wilma showed up! The wife put her foot down, so that was the end of that! Talk about bad luck. I could seriously get used to living somewhere warmer like you do - I might take a long hard look at Southern Europe in the next year or two.

Anyway, good to see you LA. I'm planning on taking my eldest kid on a West Coast Blatt in 18 months for a week or two, as a reward for him working hard on his GCSE's (assuming he does!) If you're in LA, and if you're up for it, I'll buy you a pint or three in the June sunshine!

In the meantime, good luck with your various projects!
