Having watched Top Gear last week and seeing the feature on the Frogeyed Sprite vs the Maxpower Pug it prompted me to find out where in Gloucestershire the Prescott Hill is!
Turns out it's about 5 miles from my house just off the M5 near Tewkesbury

So, I have contacted them to find out the cost of arranging a hill climbing event for the CCUK!

Please can the CCUK massiff let me know if they would be interested in doing a hill climb so I can have an idea of numbers.

I will post the cost and date options once I hear back from them.

I drive past Evesham on the A46 every morning on my way to work in Warwick at the moment

You're driving past my house then!

I join the 46 at the "McDonalds/Vale Park" island and continue straight on at the end towards Worcester...

Keep em peeled for a champagne gold (or desert beige to give it's official name) golf, or a burgundy vectra..

Then avoid both cars!

The school is great fun, but how wide is your corvette? It's quite narrow through the woods, and with Armco on both sides there isn't much room to get it wrong with a big car.

The Test Hill - it's still there and used for club events.

Have you got a postcode for Prescott Hill. I'll then look for it on Autoroute.

Would be interested if it was at a weekend. The Prescott website is awaiting redesign at the moment, looks like it is related to the Bugatti club. Circuit is wide enough for aero-engined specials, old Italas an the like. Would be fun.

I've been to Prescott and it's well worth a visit so long as you don't set your expectations too high. There's usually some nutter in an old F1 car who sweeps the field but it's good value entertainment.

Also right on the doorstep is the GWR (Gloucester & Warwickshire) steam railway which is well worth a ride if you have any Fred Dibnah running through your veins!

Where you in Tewkesbury this morning?

The reason I ask is Jan saw a Red C5 but did catch the plate.

A bit of a trek for me but if the dates fit, I could be up for it.
