Zymol Royale wax treatment tomorrow!

Took advantage of the offer PH did www.miracledetail.co.uk and the chap's coming tomorrow
I'm a big Zymol fan already - i spent many a happy hour rubbing wax on my 930
But here's what involved tomorrow:
2 hours - 13 stage Miracle wash and decontamination 2 hours
6-8 hours for digital paint depth readings, paintwork correction and the Royale
wax application.
This is using the Zymol Royale wax at £6k a pot !

Sounds complicated..i have tried every polish avaialble and had the best results by a long way using Zaino products from the States.Cheap,easy to use and a show car finish.Check out the Zaino website.Anyone else using it?
Paul at Miracle uses Zaino as well. He's a fan, but the Zymol - although more difficult to apply apparently - gives better results from what he tells me. As an 'interested amateur' I'd go for Zaino, as an 'obsessive professional' I'd go for a Zymol mega-carnauba wax.
Paul at miracle detail is the man. Does a brilliant job, works like a trojan and is totally obsessive about the finished result. You will be very pleased by the results.
paul does paintwork correction as well as polish / detailing work so he needs to know how deep the paint is before using rubbing compounds of various degrees so he can get the best finishand remove as little paint as possible. Also useful to see which panels have been repainted over time.

He's about 75GBP per hour from memory. I suppose a Zymol wax top up layer is an hour or two, a complete Concourse Detail with lots of paint correction is all day or over two days. I suppose you'd be looking at about 300GBP.
Is it value? If it keeps your car from depreciating or gets you an extra grand on your private sale price, then sure. He's saved some people from a 4-6k respray.
You'd only need a major detail yearly then a couple of top ups. Would you spend 1k a year keeping your car looking good? Some would. Especially if those hours you spend on a Sunday are worth more to you kept free. Why spend all day slaving over a Zymol pot when there's someone who actually enjoys waxing cars, LOL. And I bet he's better at waxing a car than me.
Is he taking the p1ss at 75GBP an hour when you can do the job with a bucket/sponge or give the kid next door a fiver? Well, he's probably the best car detailer in the country for the cost per hour of a distinctly average conveyancing solicitor. That doesn't seem so bad.

Well, that works out at 600-900GBP @ for 8-12 hours @75GBP per hour
I haven't used Paul but I know of someone local to me who is also a valeter and through him I discovered Zymol. He only uses Zymol products. After a bit of trial and error I've managed to work out how to use the starter kit to get the best results. OK, the finished article may not be anywhere near as good after an obsessive professional has spent the best part of a day on the car but I'm pretty pleased with the results especially considering from the initial £150 investment I've still got more than half the polish left after 6 years. I get through a bottle of Auto Bathe and wheel cleaner a year and HD clense every two - total cost £60. I admit the initial cost is expensive but I can't afford to use anything else

Interesting thought but you need to substantiate it or reveal your source, otherwise you're just scaremongering...
