Hi guys,
Due to a recent change of circumstances
I'm back on the path to TVR ownership 
I don't have a need to do massive miles anymore!
Was having a chat with NCS earlier today and I'm thinking between an S3 and a V8. Obviously an S3 is cheaper to buy but they are the same to insure.
Both will cost £270 to add to my current policy, which I can swallow. But the quotes I had last year for these cars was quite a bit lower than what I'm being quoted now.
I managed to get an S3 last year for £750 f/c no restrictions but the best I can get this year is £1019.
Annoying!
So, anyone used any good brokers or any good online companies? I have my current insurance with elephant BTW.

I've been told just today of what sounds like a sweet V8S for sale, will PM you the details of who to call.
I last had my S insured with Classic Line (01455 639 000), for £400, which for me was very good, a good bit less than half the quote of the previous year and with track cover, so its well worth giving them a call.
Insuranced has gone up a lot over the last few years due to a lot of TVR drivers taking up off roading in their steeds, I'd hoped mine would drop as my age and NCB increased, alas its just stayed even, so it could be worse.

Premium will depend on mileage you need - if you can limit to <5k or even <3k miles you'll save quite a bit. Classic Line were cheapest for me last year.

Proper old fashioned brokers with very good customer service.
I tried Sunninghill & Mannings (recommended by TVRCC) but they were a heck of a lot more expensive than MSM.

Had classic quotes before... I'm 24
It wasn't too much of a ring sting so hopefully I can sort another competitive quote!

Think they all have different policies mate... some allow younger drivers on limited miles, some don't... all very fickle

Back to topic..David - the car Tripps is talking about is the one I mentioned.
Im with Classic Line but they may not cover you as its your first Tiv & youre not an old fart like me.
