So when do we meet again?

Just wondering if anyone is up for another meet or run. Perhaps a meet at the Blackcock in again? I wish we had enough tunnels in Cardiff for a tunnel run as they do in London. Anyone fancy a tunnel run, we got Brynglass, Cardiff Bay and the other other one that comes to mind is the one by Monmouth, but that is a bit far and not that long, anyone got any others they can think off?

Yeah most definatley up for another run. Car took a bit of a beating on the last run though stone chip on the front and cracked paint on the underside of the rear spoiler few £ to sort out. Never mind the last run was great. The cars goin back for its 1,000 engine rebuild service within the next few days and hopefully i should have a new sports exhaust fitted by the time of the run .

I recon we should give it 30 days after we have set a specific date, meet place and an exact route, that way we know whos in and who aint prior to the meet. The last one was terrible, badly organised, just a day or two before and the route wernt decided until the morning - think this is why i was taken back by such a good turn out

I know it was X-Mas and all that but if a set date, route etc is arranged i think we r going to have a very good turn out - easily double the number of cars from last time .

Dunno what im looking forward to seeing now though, seen the NSX & the Lotus Esprit , ill just keep checking the ppl who posts profile lol.

I recentley looked on the SWTVR-CC website and they had some cracking photos taken in front of the big house in Margam Park, cant find a link to it but they looked good and im sure if the same photographer came along there with all the sexy metal then it would make some amazing photos - Just a thought.

Any ideas on routes? meet dates etc?

Count me in again, keep your eyes on the south west forum, we are organising another Mendip blat sometime in Feb, it will be an early(ish) Sunday morning blast, last time we shot up through Cheddar, roads nearly as good as those in Wales...

I was away for the christmas run but would be up for the next run/meet, blackcock was good the last time i went! car could do with a good blast instead of commuting keep my eye on this post ....rgds greg

Definitely ad hoc at the moment...!!!

Re. the tunnel run....the other options are cuttings/railway bridges....the bridge next to Yapps garage in Llanishen is always good for a quick "echo"...!! Then theres the little uphill bit from the roundabout at the end of Roath Park (Juboraj end), up the hill to the cemetery....

hmmmm.....

Only problem at the mo' is the filthy state of the roads...

theres another off richmond road, i think its lowther road.

Our new baby was due Saturday and didn't arrive so we're still waiting on it. As a new man blah blah, I will be there to support my good wife and am taking 4 weeks off work so I can probably get a day off for a balls-out blast but would prefer an unsalted road to getting the car caked in the stuff.
