1) Everytime i open outlook and send/receive i am asked for my account password. Every time i save it or ask it to be remembered i still get asked for it.. same if i use Express.
2) Whenever i reply to an email the reply comes back to me (as if i sent it to myself) how can i stop this? the recipient is getting their copy fine but i also receive my email...
Thanks

Hmm.. that's rather strange..
Well for the password bit, I would recommend either deleting your account in Outlook (and back up your old emails), or creating another account for the same email account. That way it might recognise and hold your password if you know what I mean
Also, that may even fix the email copies that come to you if you're lucky!
I'm thinking that maybe the 'Sent Messages' folder is somehow the same thing as your Inbox
Dave.
Mikey G have you tried this: on the Outlook Toolbar click "Tools"> "Options"> "Send" tab, then un-check "save copy of sent messages in the Sent Items folder?
As far as having to type your password every time, I have the same problem and haven't solved it as of yet so no help there. If you find the answer post it up please.

Outlook and Outlook Express prompt for the password (even if you've previously supplied it and selected the 'remember my password' box etc) if it gets an authentication failure when it connects to retrieve mail. Could be you entered the wrong password initially and it is always starting by trying the 'wrong' one, or (depending what mail server you're using) that you are logging in with an account that is not in the domain, or something screwey like that?

Password has been double/triple/quad..... you get the idea it has been checked and is correct, its an NTL account if that helps. Never had the problem before i switched from Incredishite email software, and never had the problem before using it either.
