VX220 Turbo announcement
Discussion
I believe you are correct.
Without wishing to be controversial, I prefer the VX220 to its cousin, the Elise. The VX220 is IMO a more complete car that retains most of the driving focus of the Elise, but in a more practical package. Having driven the VX220 it just did not seem to go very well...the engine is nicely refined and relaxed
I am probably being silly because I did turn-up at the test drive in my Griff...and it is pretty nippy
Perhaps a turbo will put some vr-vr-vroom into the VX220...should be lovely!
I wonder if Caterham will be tempted to slot the unit into a seven

I thought the same about the VX. I hankered after an Elise but thought it was too underpowered and the 190 simply over priced.
I had a go in a VX and had the same feeling that it needed much more power, so hence the order for a VXT.
IMO there is nothing as much fun on a track than turbo delivery rwd - I can't wait.
